New Name For LiLi

I'm sure this will come as a surprise to everyone, but we've decided to make a change in LiLi's name. Her name will be LiLi Praise (as opposed to LiLi Grace) ! The name Praise is a name that we've been considering for some time now, but ........ was confirmed during a time of worship at church on Sunday (June 24th). When we sat down, I leaned over to Mike and said " her middle name is "Praise" ! (Mike was excited because it was he who suggested that name several weeks before). In Psalms 89:9 it says "with my mouth will I make known your faithfulness to all generations. Psalms 100:4-5 says "enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into is courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting and His truth endureth to all generations". Only by praise and worship can we enter into His presence and have intimacy with Him. God said for one generation to teach the next generation to praise Him. That is my prayer for LiLi ...... to know what it means to be able to enter into His presence and to Know Him.

This is so incredible!!! I have so enjoyed reading it!I love that she is named Lily because it represents one of the names of Jesus!! We can’t wait to dedicate her to Jesus here!! You have been so diligent to keep her little journals and God has truly taken notes in heaven’s corridors Melissa!! Lily is marked for greatness for His great Kingdom, even though she was left as an orphan. She will be a Queen! We love you and can’t wait to meet her!! You’ll be in our prayers as you go to get her!

WE ARE SO EXITED AND HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS. WE CANT WAIT TO MEET LILI. LOTS OF LOVE AND PRAYERS AS YOU TRAVEL TO CHINA, WE WILL BE CHECKING THE BLOG EVERYDAY.

Eph 1:4-6 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
