We Made it to Beijing !!!

It's 11:50pm in Beijing, China (9:50 am in Dallas, TX) and we just got to our hotel room a little bit ago.

This is our first posting from abroad and we are happy to say “WE MADE IT ! Mike and I have slept very little the past few days (we have been traveling a total of about 28 hours straight now including drive time, airport time, flight time etc..) I guess it’s the excitement and anticipation. Eston didn’t sleep much either but of course he's had a lot of fun all along the way. At one point when we were flying from Dallas to Tokyo, he had tears in his eyes. When I asked him if he was ok, he said he had “tears of joy”.

Tomorrow morning, we will meet some of the other families and tour the Great Wall of China. We’re really looking forward to that but all we can really think about or talk about is HER…..our beloved LiLi.

The attached picture was taken in Tokyo, Japan a few hours in the airport (sorry about the quality). We should post some of the "Great Wall" tomorrow night.

It is difficult to describe what we're going through. We are finally completing the last and final phase and should see our daughter within a couple of days.
