Fitting Right In

Well, what do you think ? Take a look at the photos on the right side of this site (pics of us before LiLi) and then take a look at the photos we took today.....fitting right in eh ? I know it always gets better but right now I don't see how it can.

LiLi is blooming like a spring flower. She's repeating a lot of words after us and is beginning to use single words appropriately. She uses gestures and motions and single words to communicate, tease etc. and just has a great time with us. We believe she will be using full sentences in English in no time. She's responding beautifully to training as we lovingly guide and direct

her behavior and attitude. Enjoy the

You guys are doing a great job and the Lord is well pleased. We can't wait to see you all. I know just getting to church will be an exhausting and overwhleming experience, but we really are excited to see you guys there! Eston sure looks like he is enjoying his sister. She looks tuff enough to keep up with him!

Hey, I want to make sure you know how much we appreciate all the work you put into your blog so that all your friends could follow along! Your writing is great and I even got a little choked up thinking about all the emotions that each of you have been experiencing! I can only imagine!

Make sure that you print out your website – not sure if you’ve written all those details down anywhere else, but that’s the drawback of websites, it has a short shelf life.

A TRIBUTE TO MELISSA

This is Mike writing during the final stages of our adoption and it's very important for me to say that Melissa is the most wonderful wife and mom EVER. It is difficult to express with words just how hard she has worked to make this adoption happen. Below are photos taken over the past many months that show what The Edge & I were doing while she was putting in EXTREME OVERTIME to continuously bring us one step closer to LiLi. Please know that the silly way I've laid the photos out below do not show what an incredible mom she is to Eston on a daily basis, constantly teaching him about who God is and how to have a better relationship with Him (Duet 6:6-7); homeschooling him; playing with him; reading to him; talking with him about how great a big brother he will be; training and guiding his behavior and so much more......enjoy.
