Church In China/Another Great Day !!!

Can you believe we attended church service this morning ? It was hot, dusty and the pews were rock hard but best of all….it was jam packed ….standing room only with chairs lines up and down the aisles. As most of you probably know, in the past it was basically against the law to have church or openly profess faith in Christ. Today, it was so exciting to see lifelong Chinese citizens praying and worshiping the one true God. Worship service included songs in mandarin and English but an interpreter was used for the message. It was really something to behold and we believe it was LiLi’s first church service. I guess she’ll be experiencing a lot of firsts from here on out.

We are staying in the famous “White Swan Hotel” in Guangzhou (http://www.whiteswanhotel.com/). Hopefully the pics below will show a fraction of it’s beauty as well as how much fun we’re having

MT, MD, EJ, LP,

In church?? That's amazing, was it a public or underground church?????

We are really enjoying the pictures & comments. Is LiLi about ready to leave her surrounding & come to USA???

Tell Melissa her room is looking really good? I met Mom there last night & we worked until 3 this evening. The curtains , bed, closet & all really look good. Mom's got to go back at one more time to finish up.

When will you be back home?? When can we see our GD????

Love,
Dad & PopPa

Hey you guys! It is so much fun to watch your children entertain and interact with each other. Invest in arania montana. In fact buy stock in it because I am sure that the playing with each other won't end. It will calm down though because you are such good parents. I hope you become pro's in training two so I can learn. The church experiance was a blessing. I see that it was even spirit filled! Praise God! Let me know when breakfast can be served and what time. I am so exited for you to come home. It sounds as if you will becoming home to a oasis at the farm. It is very nice for your mom to be woking so hard! Have a safe trip home. I hope the blogs will caontinue after you are home because this is much better to get up and read than the paper. Enjoy your time - Stephanie

WOW! How wonderful to go and worship the ONE who has fulfilled you hearts desire...especially in China!!! What a great day you must have had! Again...you look like a family on vacation! the hotel is beautiful. Eston looks like he is having a ball playing with Lili...and his dad! GREAT PICTURES! I love all the words and phrases that describe Lili. Sound like a good mix! Our computers were down at the church...it felt like an ETERNITY before I could get back online!! It looks and sounds like Lili has taken her place in the family! She's been in your hearts for so long...now you are working your way into hers. I can't wait to see what she will be like in a year! We'll be praying for your trip back home!

Prayers and Blessings,
Deborah L.

What a blessing to be at Lili's first church service. She looked very sweet in her church outfit. Was it a underground church?
